Meditation Classes & Dharma Workshops

@ 80 County Rd C West, #804 (upstairs), Little Canada, MN 55117

"This was much more profound than any other meditation I have participated in before. The instructions were clear and the pacing was just right.  I look forward to practicing these at home.  Very nice setting to learn in too.  Thank you."

The Chinese Mystery School (Hanmi Buddhism) has evoked great interest in the community since opening its teachings to the public in 1999 for the first time in 1,400 years. The simple yet profound methods of self-practice, transmitted by Great Master Dechan Jueren, the 49th lineage holder of the Esoteric School, have been time tested to support the practitioner through life’s journey.  These techniques can assist you to live free from worry, defilements, and sufferings so that you may more easily achieve a healthy body and mind and experience peace and fulfilled wishes.  For one who continues with these practices, a higher or deeper state of consciousness is achieved, creating unfathomable spiritual discovery and causing true wisdom to emerge.

Join us each Thursday for an opportunity to calm your mind, bring peace and joy to your heart.  Each session will begin with a brief introduction to the Chinese Mystery School, followed by a guided meditation.  Suggested donation, $6.   RSVP HERE.

Treasure Vase Qi Dharma Workshop
November 30, 2019:  12-3:30 pm

Learn one of the essential  Hanmi Buddhist Foundations for Self-Realization meditations--Treasure Vase Qi Dharmas.   This method, Treasure Vase Qi, has a very profound meaning.  It includes Buddha, Vajra, Arhat, and the mutuality of motion and position.  The Integrated Practice of the Three Mysteries can lead the practitioner to sense the mystery of the Law, Dharma.  This method can bring forth an inner Qi-releasing movement in a very short time.  Even more amazing is that, within approximately twenty minutes the practitioner can grasp the outer Qi-generating-and-releasing method. Treasure Vase Qi practices to protect the practitioner from extreme cold and extreme heat are also taught.   Tuition Dana, $38, includes full transmission of the teaching, and a guidebook for further practice.  An empowered meditation CD for ongoing practice is also available for purchase.  RSVP by November 22 to secure your seat to info@mn-hanmi-buddhism.org.

Calming & Relaxing Dharma Meditation Course

Thursdays-- December 5, 12, 19; 6:30- 8pm

We are offering Calming & Relaxing Dharma now because December is a time that we need to remember to keep the peace and to nurture ourselves, even and especially when we are focused on nurturing others.  Calming & Relaxing Dharma is one of the Hanmi Buddhist Foundations for Self-Realization meditations.  It guides the practitioner into the first state of Chan, and through this letting go, the practitioner is supported in entering a deeper state of consciousness.  Side benefits include better night's sleep, needing less sleep, and experiencing true relaxation.  Tuition dana, $38, includes the three class sessions, full transmission of the teaching, and a guidebook for ongoing practice.  An empowered meditation CD is available for purchase.  RSVP by December 1 to: info@mn-hanmi-buddhsim.org.  Gift yourself the gift of peace and clarity this December.
